iRainbow is a South African digital learning platform designed to help children with schoolwork in a more engaging and supportive way. It offers interactive learning support, practice activities, assessments, and a growing library of educational resources to help learners from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

iRainbow supports learners from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

iRainbow's main interactive learning platform focuses on Maths, English, Afrikaans, and Life Skills. In addition, the iRainbow video library gives learners access to a much broader range of CAPS and IEB-aligned subject support across Grades 1 to 12, including subjects such as Maths, Maths Literacy, English, Afrikaans, Life Orientation, Accounting, and Business Studies, together with broader educational support content and lesson explanations.

Yes. iRainbow is designed to support South African learners and align with both CAPS and IEB requirements.

No. iRainbow can help learners who are struggling, learners who need more confidence, and learners who are already doing well but want more practice and reinforcement.

No. iRainbow is a support tool. It is there to help reinforce learning, provide extra practice, and support both learners and parents outside the classroom.

iRainbow is for parents who want to give their children extra support with schoolwork, revision, confidence building, and daily learning structure.

Older learners can usually use iRainbow more independently. Younger learners, especially those who are still learning to read, may need some guidance from a parent or adult at first.

The best place to start is with your child's current grade and the subject where they need the most support. It is usually better to begin small and build a consistent daily routine rather than trying to do everything at once.

Short, consistent sessions usually work best. A daily routine is often more effective than long sessions done only once in a while.

Yes. iRainbow can help learners revise what they are doing at school, practise weak areas, and get extra support with concepts linked to homework and classwork.

Yes. iRainbow is especially helpful for learners who need repetition, reinforcement, and more opportunities to practise concepts in a clear and structured way.

Yes. Even learners who are doing well can benefit from extra practice, revision, and enrichment.

iRainbow is designed to be accessible in environments where internet access is limited or unreliable. Some parts of the experience may require internet depending on the version being used, but offline accessibility is one of iRainbow's major strengths.

iRainbow can be used on Android, Windows, and iOS devices. It works on phones, tablets, and computers, so families can use it on almost any device they already have.

Although iRainbow can be used on any device, we recommend using it on a larger screen such as a tablet or computer where possible, as this usually gives children a better learning experience.

Yes. Parents can download only the content needed for their child's grade, which helps save space on the device.

Yes. iRainbow includes a large video library with broader CAPS and IEB-aligned educational support across Grades 1 to 12. This gives learners access to lesson explanations, revision support, and additional subject coverage beyond the core interactive platform.

Yes. Parents who want extra support can join iRainbow VIP, which is designed to give children more structure, accountability, and live academic support.

iRainbow VIP is an extra support option for parents who want more consistency, closer follow-through, and additional teacher support for their child.

VIP includes live teachers on Zoom after school (Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm), weekly progress reports, termly printable workbooks, and exam and test preparation workshops.

R599 per child per month, or R990 per month for 2 children.

Yes. iRainbow also offers worksheets, workbook support, and additional learning resources to help learners practise and reinforce concepts.

Yes. Workbook purchases can be made separately through the iRainbow store.

For most website customers, iRainbow is not a long-term contract. It is a monthly subscription unless you choose an annual option. Lifetime packages are once-off purchases. Some lifetime packages signed at shopping malls may be linked to a 24-month agreement — please refer to the contract you signed.

Yes. If you subscribed through the website, you can cancel before your next billing date by contacting support. If you purchased iRainbow at a shopping mall, please refer to the contract you signed, as different terms may apply.

Yes. A standard household membership allows up to 5 learner profiles, unless iRainbow approves otherwise in writing.

If your household has more than 5 children who need access, you must contact iRainbow and provide any reasonable proof requested. If approved, iRainbow may increase the number of profiles at its discretion and may apply additional verification steps or package conditions.

Progress visibility depends on the version and features being used. One of the goals of iRainbow is to help parents understand where support is needed and where progress is being made.

YouTube is broad and often random, which means parents and learners have to search through a lot of content that is not structured around their exact school needs. iRainbow is different because it is curriculum aligned, structured, interactive, and built to support real learning progress. It also includes assessments and progress tracking features to help learners practise in a more guided way.

iRainbow gives children the chance to practise in a structured way every day, not just once or twice a week. It helps build consistency and daily reinforcement. For families who want more accountability and guided support, iRainbow VIP adds live weekday sessions and closer follow-through.

You simply update the grade in the system and continue. There is no need to repurchase just because your child has moved up to the next grade.

That is very common, especially when a child already feels behind, frustrated, or overwhelmed. In many cases, resistance starts to decrease once the child begins understanding the work better and starts experiencing small wins. The key is to start small, build routine, and help the child experience progress instead of pressure.

iRainbow is built for the South African context, supports learners across multiple grades, and is designed to work even where connectivity is a challenge. It combines interactive learning, educational resources, and a growing content ecosystem to support children more effectively.

iRainbow is a personalised learning platform designed to help schools improve learner support at scale. It combines assessments, assigning, instant marking, progress tracking, lesson videos, and AI-powered learning support in one system.

iRainbow helps schools give learners more structured support and targeted practice without creating more manual work for teachers. It is especially valuable where class sizes are large, learner needs vary, and schools want a more practical way to identify gaps and respond quickly.

iRainbow's school model is built around a simple 4-step personalised learning journey: (1) Gamified Assessments — learners access curriculum-mapped interactive assessments; (2) 1-Click Assigning — teachers send tasks to classes or individuals based on performance; (3) Zero-Touch Marking — work is marked and tracked instantly; (4) Personal Learning Plans — the system identifies gaps and supports tailored pathways.

iRainbow is not just a content library. It is designed to help schools move from assessment to action. Instead of giving schools random digital content, it provides a structured path from learner performance to assigning, marking, tracking, and targeted support.
